After 9/11 our troops invaded Afghanistan. In 2001 Afghanistan’s opium production had been virtually eradicated. Now it is the largest producer of heroin in the world.
Our troops, some of whom are 18 year old boys, are dieing for our intelligence agencies global drugs trade.
They join up to avoid the dealers on the street corners – they are now ordered to protect the opium.
